April Gaming Revenue Rises in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced that total revenue from gaming and fantasy contests in April reached $595 million, marking a 6.5% year-over-year increase. Tax collections amounted to $255.3 million.

Per the regulator’s data, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course topped the market with $109 million in revenue, reflecting an 11.6% year-over-year gain. Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $105.8 million, up 6.8%, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia posted $60 million, also a 6.8% increase. Parx Casino reported $57.1 million, rising 5.4%, and Wind Creek Bethlehem recorded $44.9 million, a 6% decline.

Revenue from retail slot machines totaled $206.7 million, up 1.8% from the prior year, with 24,856 machines in operation versus 24,363 in April 2025. Retail table games revenue fell 2.4% to $78.7 million. Slots contributed $105.1 million in taxes, and table games added $13.3 million.

Online gaming produced $245.8 million in revenue, a 7.9% increase over April 2025. Online slots accounted for $195.2 million, online table games $48 million, and online poker $2.6 million. Tax revenue from online gaming reached $113.5 million.

The sports betting handle came in at $641.6 million, down 9.8% year-over-year, though taxable revenue surged 38.6% to $59 million compared to the same month in 2025.
