(SeaPRwire) –   美國戰爭部長表示，伊朗軍艦IRIS Dena於周一在斯里蘭卡海岸附近被魚雷擊中，證實了先前的報導

美國戰爭部長Pete Hegseth表示，一艘美國潛艇於周一在印度洋擊沉了一艘伊朗海軍護航驅逐艦。先前的媒體報導指出，IRIS Dena號在斯里蘭卡西南部加勒市附近約40海里處被擊中，斯里蘭卡海軍救出了數十名船員。

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Hegseth said the Iranian vessel had “thought it was safe in international waters.”

“Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo. Quiet death,” Hegseth stated, adding that the incident marked the “first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War II.”

斯里蘭卡外交部長Vijitha Herath表示，該國於周三早上約5點08分首次收到求救訊號，並立即派遣兩艘海軍船隻協助這艘伊朗船隻。

“Thirty persons in need of urgent help were immediately rescued. They have been admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital in Galle,” the diplomat added.

據信攻擊發生時，IRIS Dena號上約有180人。

斯里蘭卡海軍發言人Buddhika Sampath告訴記者，救援人員已找到數具疑似伊朗軍艦人員的遺體。

上週六，美國和以色列軍方對伊朗發動大規模空襲，殺害了最高領袖Ayatollah Ali Khamenei及多名伊朗高級指揮官，此後更有多次攻擊。伊斯蘭共和國已進行報復，向以色列以及中東各地的美國和英國軍事設施發射了密集的無人機和導彈。

俄羅斯譴責殺害Khamenei的行為，總統Vladimir Putin稱其為 “cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law.”
